March 13th is upon us. If you’re a Detroiter, you know exactly what this means. It’s time to celebrate that number dialing through us, connecting our community for one SOUL purpose, our love for the one and only Detroit.

If you’re making your way to our 313 Day Celebration on the Detroit Riverfront at Robert C. Valade Park, you’re in for a marvelous treat starting at 3:13 pm. You can be late or you can be early, we’ll have something fun for everyone until the sun goes down.

When: Friday, March 13 (313 Day), from 3:13 p.m. – 8 pm

Where: 2670 Atwater St, Detroit, MI 48207 (Robert C. Valade Park)

What to expect: Live Music, Trivia and Comedy, Poetry, Circus Performances, Fashion Show, Art, Community Activations, and more!

Get creative at 313 Day! Celebrate Detroit with arts and crafts. (WDIV Local 4)

Younger ones can enjoy arts and crafts coordinated by the College for Creative Studies, Signal Return, the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy and Local 4.

Older ones can laugh with our host T. Barb and all her hilarious comedian friends, and we all can enjoy some toe-tapping music With Act Casual and an array of other fabulous musicians, a puppet show with Puppet Karaoke Detroit, a fashion show with the ReVamp, poetry by InsideOut Literary Arts and even a circus performance from one of Detroit’s favorite clowns, Tumbleweed.

No matter the weather, we come together. We all love Detroit.
