DETROIT – One of Michigan's most popular ice cream destinations is naming its newest flavor after a homegrown band.

Moomers Homemade Ice Cream in Traverse City, Michigan, which was named best ice cream parlor by USA Today in 2016, is naming its new flavor after The Accidentals.

The Michigan-based indie-folk group released their Michigan tribute song "Michigan and Again" last spring, with an awesome video to go along with it.

The ice cream shop announced Monday that their new flavor in March would be called "The Accidentals Michigan and Again."

The flavor is blueberry based with a cherry swirl, and will be available starting Friday.
