Being Beth Pearson On 'This Is US'

Susan Kelechi Watson talks about what it's like playing Beth Pearson on NBC's hit show "This Is Us".

Beth is the wife of Randall Pearson played by Emmy award winner Sterling K. Brown. Together their characters are raising a family that has challenges to overcome.

Susan says she loves Beth's honesty, willingness to go along with change, and being so open to change. 

She also says the cast does a great job with leaving their characters on set and moving on to the next scene.

There has been praise for Susan wearing her natural hair on the show. She says it's a shout out to African American women.
