The dream of a new home is something that has long been a part of the American dream. This weekend at the Novi Home Show at Suburban Collection Showplace, you can see about ways to upgrade your home, and learn about home buying options. One thing to consider is a manufactured home. John Lindley with the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association shareD about their showcase at the Home Show.
“We’ve got six homes that are going to be on display here," said Lindley. “There are going to be experts here to talk about financing, retail, installation, transportation, any questions that a consumer might have.”
One of the homes being shown by Sun Homes Communities at the Manufactured Housing Showcase is nearly 1,600 square feet with three bedrooms and two baths. It’s built to energy efficient standards and includes new Energy Star efficient appliances.
When asked how long it takes to get a new manufactured home Lindley said, “The speed to market is unbelievable. So, from the moment that home is purchased, to final closing on a home, for a manufactured home IT can be within that 60 to 90 day range.”
Lindley also said the manufactured homes can be installed on private property or in a community.

The Novi Home Show at Suburban Collection Showplace runs Friday from Noon to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. You can get more information here.
