Pick the perfect pumpkin

The countdown is on until Halloween, and that means the clock is ticking to find the perfect pumpkin to put on your porch or to turn into a jack-o-lantern.

There are a variety of places where you can search for a pumpkin, including Three Cedars Farm in Northville. The farm has a U-pick pumpkin patch and also has pumpkins that are already picked and ready to go home. You’ll find pumpkins of all sizes and shapes, along with even different colors aside from the typical orange.

In addition to the pumpkins that are for sale at Three Cedars Farm, you’ll also spot a massive pumpkin that’s on display. The pumpkin weighs in at 1,056 pounds, according to the sign that’s posted on it.
