An unsuspected comedy production hits the stage

Death, comedy, and family are all found in the upcoming production of “Fourteen Funerals” put on by Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, which was founded by actor Jeff Daniels.

“Fourteen Funerals is a story of a woman, Sienna, who’s called from big city Chicago to a small town in Indiana to give fourteen eulogies for fourteen family members she’s never met,” actor Shonita Joshi said.

The show goes through the story of Sienna finding her way through both the funerals and the town with the help of another town member named Millie.
