Comedy that comes with a lesson

Comedy sketches can give room for the audience to have fun and get a good laugh, but they can also help them learn something too. Planet Ant is a comedy theater and this month they have a goal of educating people on the Black experience in America with the show “Do the Knowledge”.

“I wanted to educate the masses and by masses, I mean non-black people about not only history but just everyday experiences,” said Jake Russell, director and performer.

The show has multiple comedians from the area that contribute to an overall sketch acted out but Jake. The show will be taking place this weekend.
