Get ready for a wildly visual series

Get ready to see the world in a way you never have before. NBC has a new 10 part series that shares the stories of wildlife. “The Americas” is narrated by Tom Hanks and uses remarkable visuals to take viewers deep into the lives of animals living in the wild.

“You’re on this extraordinary journey from way up in Canada almost to the bottom of the planet,” said Mike Gunton, the show’s Executive Producer.

He said if you would choose a place you would love to go and see the animals that live there, this show will take you there. He said you find out what animals live where, and why, along with many other interesting discoveries.

The first episode airs Sunday, February 23, at 7 p.m. on Local 4.
