This organization is helping women live out their business ownership dreams

There’s a place on the campus of Michigan Central in Detroit that’s helping female founders bring their ideas and business plans to life.

“Femology is the first female focused co-working space in the state of Michigan,” said Femology Founder Meagan Ward.

She said in addition to offering a beautiful space, women founders can work, hold meetings, and events. Her organization offers classes to help female entrepreneurs create and establish a successful business.

“We launched our Female Founders school in October of 2024,” Ward said. She explained that the school kind of works like an MBA program, teaching the women everything they’ll need to thrive as entrepreneurs. The space is located inside the New Lab building.
