Selfridge's May event scrapped amid operational demands
MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – Selfridge Air National Guard Base has cancelled its open house and air show in May.
The announcement was made Tuesday, March 17.
According to Leadership of the 127th Wing, the show -- originally planned for May 30 and 31 -- has been cancelled due to “operational and readiness requirements.”
As of Tuesday, Thunder Over Michigan at Willow Run Airport is still expected to take place this July.
