Make gift-giving meaningful

With the exception of the December holidays, research shows, late spring/early summer is prime gift-giving season. We are fresh off of Mother’s Day - and well into grad and wedding season. Father’s Day is on deck - not to mention it’s always someone’s birthday! We spend a lot of time thinking about gifts. With that said, does giving a gift without putting thought into it defeat the purpose? Local 4 Lifestyle Editor Jon Jordan has some gift giving guidelines to make the effort easier and the reaction rewarding. “Gift giving can be an art or afterthought,” Jordan said. He said the recipient can tell the difference. The most important thing he said when giving a gift, is knowing the person receiving it.
