Popular Ramen bar opens 1st Michigan location in metro Detroit

They’re known across the country for their authentic Japanese-inspired ramen. Now, Jinya has its first Michigan location in Royal Oak, and people are loving it.

“We’ve had many repeat guests, some have come close to 20 times, so we’re doing something right,” said Tra-C Garcia, Operating Partner at, Jinya Ramen Bar.

She said the restaurant’s founder Tomo Takahashi goes to Japan and brings back the latest dishes, giving them that Japanese authenticity.
