Art set to fill the streets of Wyandotte

Wyandotte is getting ready to transform into an art lover’s dream when thousands flock to the downtown and waterfront areas for the 64th Wyandotte Street Art Fair.

There will be more than 300 artists participating in this year’s street fair, which is the most the event has ever included, explained Joe Gruber with the Wyandotte Downtown Development Authority.

In addition to the art, there will also be opportunities to enjoy a variety of food and drink options.

“What’s really special about downtown Wyandotte is our Social District. This is an area of about 23 bars and restaurants where you can get a beverage to-go and walk around the street fair,” Gruber said.

The Wyandotte Street Art Fair will be held July 9th through July 12th.
