Hair color can often be a complicated and expensive endeavor, costing hundreds of dollars and requiring several hours. However, Local 4 Lifestyle Editor Jon Jordan demonstrated that it doesn’t have to be that way.
Jon gave a real-time makeover to Doug Dascenzo, a “Live In The D” viewer who reached out for help with his hair.
Doug shared that he was feeling washed-out and wanted a fresh look.
“My goal is to restore the vibrant look I once had,” Doug explained.
Jon revealed he would be using a $1.25 dollar store tint—something he actually uses himself. The key, he explained, is to apply the color strategically to complement facial features and enhance definition, rather than ending up with an unnatural look.
After a quick processing time, Jon returned to reveal the results of Doug’s budget-friendly hair color makeover.
“I think he’s a magician,” Doug said with a laugh.
Doug’s hair now shows enhanced definition and a refreshed look that complements his facial features.
