Back-to-School Savings with Aldi

Quick shopping, healthy options, and big savings for busy families

All week “Live in the D,” has been focusing on kiddos as they head back to school. Aldi, who has the lowest prices of any national grocer said, they can save parents time and money while grocery shopping and planning out school lunches. Ryan Fritsch, Regional Vice President at Aldi Webberville said, the design of their stores helps with this. “Our stores are set up for shoppers to help them save time and money, through a very carefully laid out product line - as well as a very thoughtful store set - which in the end takes all of the guess work out of shopping.” Fritsch said this allows shoppers to get in and out in a flash, with their wallets intact.

There is also the “Aldi Exclusive” label brand, which is on most items in the store. Customers save up to 36% on an average shopping trip.

The layout of the stores offers convenience with ready-to-go meals right as you walk in. The layout also promotes health, displaying fresh produce near the entrances.

As for school lunches, Aldi has everything parents need - and a wide variety. “We’ve got 18 varieties of bread...we have a rotation of 50 different select cheeses.” Fritsch said. Aldi also has easy-to-pack fresh fruits and vegetables, select meats, rows of snacks, and uniquely flavored dips.

The store offers the “twice as nice guarantee,” which means, if a shopper doesn’t like an item for any reason, Aldi will replace it and give a full refund.

Aldi has nearly 20 stores in the metro Detroit area. To find the store nearest you, visit their website here.
