Love is in the air in “The Groomsmen” trilogy, which is the Hallmark Channel’s new three-part series that tells the stories of three best friends as they find love.
Actors Jonathan Bennett, Tyler Hynes, and B.J. Britt star in the films where each of the characters have their own love story.
“I think what’s great about this trilogy is it’s a perspective of love from the guy’s point of view,” Bennett said.
Britt plays the role of “Pete” who has the first chapter. The next love story involves Bennett who plays “Danny,” a character who realizes he’s in love with his best friend. The final chapter shares the story of the character “Jackson” who is navigating being a dad and finding love. Hynes steps into the role of “Jackson.”
“Each movie has its own function, and what makes this trilogy so beautiful is that it was conceived as one big project...Our trilogy, we have one giant story that we’re telling, and in the end of that trilogy, it ties up all three stories and gives you a whole new perspective on the stories you thought you were hearing. And, I think it’s something that you don’t expect. I think it’s something that hits you emotionally in a really real way,” Hynes said.
If you want to watch these love stories unfold, “The Groomsmen First Look” airs Saturday, September 6th at 8 p.m. on the Hallmark Channel. “The Groomsmen Second Chances” airs September 13th, and you can catch “The Groomsmen Last Dance” on September 20th on the Hallmark Channel.
