She’s a popular Motor City comedian known for her quick wit, relatable stories, and big personality, and now Melanie Hearn is getting ready to take the stage at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle.
“It’s kind of surreal because I actually got my comedy start there,” Hearn said.
The comedian explained that she took a class at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle a decade ago with her mentor, comedian Bill Bushart.
“I remember walking in and seeing all the pictures, because when you headline the club, you get to sign the wall and your picture gets to be on the wall,” she said.
Hearn told herself that she was going to end up on the wall.
Melanie Hearn will be performing at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in Royal Oak on Thursday, October 2nd. Doors open at 7 p.m., and showtime is at 7:30 p.m.
