The excitement is ramping ahead of the 22nd Annual Detroit Tree Lighting presented the DTE Energy Foundation and produced by the Downtown Detroit Partnership.
This year’s tree is a 62-foot Norway spruce from Mesick, Michigan.
While the tree shining bright is the main event, there is so much more that will also be happening at Campus Martius during the Detroit Tree Lighting. Spectators can enjoy musical acts taking the stage and also skating performances on the ice rink.
Check out the videos below to get a preview of what’s planned for Friday night’s event.
You can watch the Detroit tree lighting during a special broadcast on Local 4 and Local 4+ on Friday, Nov. 21st at 7 p.m.
