The holiday season is upon us, and if you’re looking for a festive dining experience, you may want to head to Royal Oak.
Jingle and Santa’s Workshop are two Christmas pop-ups that will be lighting up Main Street.
For this week’s “Dine in the D”, reporter April Morton takes us to Ale Mary’s and Mesa to show us the distinct dining experiences these places have to offer. While these neighboring restaurants provide different dining opportunities, they’re both feeding into the holiday spirit.
Starting at Ale Mary’s, April spoke with the Executive Chef, Jamal Alashmaly, who shared how both restaurants are decorated with holiday decor from floor to ceiling. April also spoke with Ale Mary’s Bartender, Dalton Graham, who showcased some holiday drinks being offered this season.
April got a good look at what’s on the menu and saw specials such as their holiday sandwich, jingle-burger, eggnog French toast, and Grinch pancakes.
As April headed over to Mesa, she met the General Manager, Veronica Rallo, who presented their festive cocktails. Luis Hernandez, Executive Chef of Mesa, gave April a peek at what’s on the menu. Luis described their dishes as authentic Mexican.
To see these dishes and creative cocktails, you can click the video above or try them for yourself at Ale Mary’s and Mesa, both located in Royal Oak.
The Christmas pop-ups run from now until the first week of January.
