The Detroit Lions have teamed up with Grit City Spirits and Ferris Coffee out of Grand Rapids - to create a limited-edition Espresso Martini. It’s a perfect gift for coffee-lovers and Lions fans.
Drew Perry, the Director of Operations at BOTLD, the makers of Grit City Spirits, stopped by “Live in the D,” to give a preview of what customers can expect from the unique ready-to-go cocktail. “It’s a finished product, we’re going to pour it into our shaker, give it a 10 second shake and pour it,” he said, as he demonstrates how to get the best bar quality Espresso Martini at home.
He also chatted about how the collab with Ferris Coffee came to be. “As proud partners of the Detroit Lions, it was a no brainer. Ferris Coffee’s been roasting coffee here for over 100 years, their den blend was exactly what we were looking for in this cocktail. It’s dark, it’s rich, it’s chocolatey, so it was an easy decision for us.”
The design on the bottle pays tribute to the Lions 90th anniversary, and their 1935 championship.
