Kurtis Kitchen & Bath promotes faster ‘Renew It’ makeovers

Family-owned Michigan firm leans on craftsmanship and consultation

Kurtis Kitchen & Bath, a Michigan-based, family-owned remodeling company nearing its 60th year, is expanding its lineup with “ReNewIt by Kurtis,” a streamlined option for homeowners seeking impactful kitchen and bath updates without a months-long overhaul.

ReNewIt is the same Kurtis company and the same Kurtis quality, but we wanted to have something that was very impactful and something that could be done in a quicker remodel situation,” said principal owner Aaron Kuretzky during an appearance on Live in the D. “We have refacing and paint that we can do that can be done in as little as three days.”

Founded in 1968 by Kuretzky’s grandfather, the company has grown across generations while emphasizing clarity, craftsmanship and confidence in every project. “It’s amazing. It’s an honor. But it’s also a lot of responsibility, which we proudly do,” Kuretzky said.

Kurtis offers full-scale kitchen and bath remodels alongside in-home cabinet refacing and painting for clients who want to keep their existing layout. “It’s a consultation experience with our clients, and we want to find out what their needs and what their wants are, to be able to develop the right strategy to produce a great product,” Kuretzky said.

For many homeowners, the shorter timeline is just as important as the transformation. “We live with our clients, so… shorter time sometimes is a lot better for them as well,” he said.

Kuretzky said the company’s longevity is rooted in consistent values. “One of our core values is quality, craftsmanship, and bringing those services,” he said. “Kitchen’s the heart of the home.”
