His videos have fans cracking up on social media, and now comedian Trey Kennedy is bringing his jokes to the stage in Detroit.
Kennedy became a viral sensation for his hilarious, yet relatable sketches.
“My comedy has always just been finding the humor in my life, my experiences,” Kennedy explained.
Whether he’s sharing the realness of marriage or being a dad of two kids under the age of two, Kennedy’s videos offer clean humor that’s garnered more than 5 million followers on Facebook.
Kennedy’s journey to comedic success started when he downloaded the Vine app years ago, but he didn’t expect what would come next.
“I was always the funny guy. I never thought I’d do it for a job, but one thing led to another. I made viral videos, got a following, and then I started getting told that people wanted to see me in person. I couldn’t believe it. So, I gave it a shot, sold some tickets, people want to come, so six years later, we’re still touring and doing shows,” Kennedy said.
Trey Kennedy will be performing Friday, Feb. 20th at Music Hall Presented by Hollywood Casino at Greektown.
