Riverdance Marks 30 Years with “New Generation” Tour Coming to Detroit

Dancers say updated production blends tradition, new talent, and global styles at the Fox Theatre

The 30th anniversary tour of the international hit Riverdance is making a stop at Detroit’s Fox Theatre for three performances over two days, bringing what performers call a refreshed “New Generation” version of the show.

Dancers Kieran Bryant and Kelly Morris say the production honors the legacy of the original while adding updated LED visuals, new choreography, refreshed costumes, and returning fan favorites.

In addition to Irish step dancing, the show features a mix of global styles including flamenco, Eastern European folk dance, and tap, all tied together by rhythmic percussion.

Tickets are available through 313Presents.com.
