“Pine Hall” is the latest addition to the Hudson’s building in downtown Detroit. Not only does the restaurant have spectacular panoramic views of the city, but it also honors the historic site.
“It’s a nod to the Pine Room, which was on the top floor restaurant at the old Hudson site. You’ll see some of those nods to the design, there’s a lot of the dark wood tones on the menu, you’ll see nods to it with the Maurice salad and the bumpy cake that we have,” said Kris Peterson, General Manager at Pine Hall.
The restaurant is located on the 12th floor, and the views are breathtaking.
“It really is a panoramic view of Detroit. You’ve got Belle Isle and Canada in the corner. You get shots of the Ambassador and the Gordie Howe Bridge all the way through Book Tower, and then you swing along the skyline. You’ll get a shot down the third baseline of Comerica Park and Ford Field,” Peterson said.
