Two Men Charged With Larceny, Accused Of Stealing Apple Device
IPad Stolen During Meeting Setup Through Craigslist
FERNDALE, Mich. – Ferndale Police arrested two men Tuesday who they say stole an iPad from an 18-year-old man.
The victim met the two men, Eldon Nathaniel Stephens and Steven Dale Goodwin, also 18, after they responded to a Craigslist ad he had posted to sell the device. The three met near the intersection of Eight Mile Road and Woodward Avenue where the victim let the two men into his car.

When the victim presented iPad and its accessories, the suspects grabbed them both and ran without paying, police said.
Ferndale police were contacted and they caught up with the suspects who were hiding between buildings west of Woodward along Eight Mile Road. After a brief struggle, both men were handcuffed and arrested, police said.
Stephens and Goodwin were arraigned Thursday afternoon and charged with larceny.
