WATERFORD, Mich. – Waterford police said a 28-year-old man was gunned down while walking Sunday morning near South Lynn and Lakeview streets.
Police said resident James Dean Odle was shot several times just before 3 a.m. They said he was shot by a man who got out of a white GMC Acadia or white Chrysler Pacifica.

The shooter is described by police as a black man with a thin build, who was wearing a black T-shirt with white and tan checkered shorts. They did not give an approximate age.
