STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly shooting and injuring an 18-year-old in Sterling Heights on Friday.
William Brown, 33, was charged with one count of assault with intent to murder, two counts of felony firearm and one count of discharging a weapon from a vehicle.
The shooting happened in the area of eastbound Hall Road west of Schoenherr at around 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 14.

Sterling Heights police said an 18-year-old man was shot and taken to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries was not released.
After three hours of searching, police said they found the suspect, later identified as Brown, at a Kroger parking lot on Highland Avenue in Milford. According to Milford police, guns, body armor and other possible evidence were found.
Brown was arraigned in court on Aug. 17 and was given a $500,000 bond. He is expected to return to court on Aug. 24 for a probable cause conference.
