New Hemp Tea Hits Market

DETROIT – A new tea called Hemp Garden Tea is being sold in stores but some critics argue the beverage targets teens and promotes drug use.

The tea's website promotes that it contains flavor extracts and hemp seeds, but no THC. The can is decorated with cannibus leaves and has the slogan "Chill Your Head With the Good Stuff."

It is not considered an energy drink but it does have some caffeine in it because it also contains black tea. The product's website boasts positive health benefits with mineral content and omega 3 and 6.
