3 childhood friends graduate Detroit’s Renaissance High School as co-valedictorians

DETROIT – Three women became friends at 5 years old, now they’ll be graduating together as co-valedictorians.

Peyton Cunegin, Ava Mcconico and Jeniffer Ukomadu met at Bates Academy and are graduating from Detroit’s Renaissance High School.

Peyton and Ava will attend the University of Michigan.

Jeniffer will attend Yale.
