Family Buggy restaurant closes in Farmington Hills

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – A restaurant that served families for 44 years in Farmington Hills is closing its doors this Sunday.

The Family Buggy on Orchard Lake Road has been open since the 1970s, but will close this weekend when the owners retire.

Patrons at the restaurant said they will miss the great food and comfortable setting of the restaurant.

The Family Buggy has been in several locations over the years including Livonia and Rochester Hills.

The owners said they are overwhelmed by the response they have received since announcing the closing in October.
