Man accused of robbing bank after leaving hospital Joshua Dettlaff charged with armed robbery
1/30/12: Joshua Daniel Dettlaff is accused of robbing a bank just hours after he was released from a hospital for treatment.
YPSILANTI, Mich. – An Ypsilanti man is in custody on allegations he robbed a bank after he was released from treatment at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Superior Township.
Joshua Dettlaff, 32, is facing several charges, including armed robbery. He's accused of robbing a Chase bank on Huron Driver Thursday.
The money was recovered when Dettlaff was arrested shortly after the robbery.
He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
He's due back in court on Feb. 7.
