DETROIT – The hotel at MGM Grand Detroit and Michael Mina's SALTWATER have received AAA's 2012 Four Diamond rating.

The Four Diamond rating is given to hotels that are upscale in all areas of service, decor, and amenities. Four Diamond restaurants are establishments that cater to individuals looking for fine-dining experiences, have complex menus, and a refined ambiance among other things.

This is the fourth consecutive year the MGM Grand Detroit and SALTWATER have received the recognition.

"We are honored to once again be bestowed with two Four Diamond awards from AAA," said MGM Grand Detroit General Manager Steve Zanella. "Our team members work tirelessly to ensure that every guest receives the highest caliber service and most memorable experience. This award really goes to them."

SALTWATER features a menu of seafood favorites including Chef Mina's Lobster Pot Pie, Beer Battered Fish & Chips, and ice-cold shellfish.
