MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – A brother and sister from Lincoln Park are facing a long list of charges after being arrested following a dispute in a bar parking lot that involved a gun and a Taser.

Once he arrived to the bar on Dequindre, the former employee, later identified as Katie Preece, and her brother, John Preece, got out of the Durango and attacked him and a friend who had come to help him. Police said John Preece broke out the victim's window and Katie Preece used a Taser on the friend. Police said John Preece also took the friend's handgun from his waistband and put it to the friend's head, threatening to kill.

Police said Katie Preece also used a Taser on a second person who came to help the victim.

The brother and sister then fled but were arrested nearby at 11 Mile and Stephenson. Police said they found the stolen handgun and the Taser in the siblings' car.

They are both charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, larceny of weapons, possession of Taser, carrying a concealed weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property.

Their preliminary exam is set for March 14.
