BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police have him on video and now they know what he is driving.
Investigators believe a man in his 50s who has been walking into businesses around Oakland County -- 17 times in 10 different communities -- while wearing sheer, dark colored pantyhose is escalating his unusual behavior.
The man has been spotted on surveillance cameras at several businesses including nail salons, where he has been inquiring about a Brazilian wax.
Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard said he and his deputies aren't amused.
"There's a progression. They become embolden. They become further interested, excited, whatever you want to call it," the Sheriff said. "They become more aggressive and they step to another level. They can go from flashing to unwanted touching."
Bouchard's deputies have figured out "Mr. Pantyhose," as many have referred to him, has been driving around a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee -- somewhere between a 2005 and 2009 model.
The video and pictures are clear and deputies are asking for the public's help in tracking down the man.
"We're working different leads right now, but if anybody knows, we could use the help. We'd like to stop him," Bouchard said.
Bouchard is coordinating with Macomb and Wayne counties because the man has hit communities outside of Oakland County.
Anyone with information on the man should call the Oakland County Sheriff's Office at 248-858-4911.
