Personal documents dumped and left behind and now the owner of a local building is left to figure it out.
A woman, who did not want her identity revealed, owns a building on Detroit's west side. The woman said she was renting the property to Lisa Asker, a local social security attorney.
But in January, according to the property owner, Asker stopped paying rent so the woman evicted her. The woman said Asker's last day in the office was Friday.
The owner returned to the property for a walk through this weekend but to her surprise found trash, broken glass, and tons of paperwork with clients' personal information scattered across the floor. Social security numbers, medical information and more personal information were on the documents.
Asker could not be reached for comment.
According to the owner, she has contacted police to help her figure out what to do with the documents.
