Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Mathers, arrested again in Macomb County days after no-contest plea

The ex-wife of rapper Eminem, Kimberley Anne Mathers, 51, of Chesterfield, was arrested again, this time in Macomb County.

Mathers was arrested Thursday (May 14) night by Chesterfield Township police, according to jail records.

Police said she was booked into the Macomb County Jail and later released.

Ypsilanti woman raises safety concerns over encampment in woods behind home after bicycle theft

A Ypsilanti woman says a homeless encampment behind her home has turned into a safety issue after a string of unsettling encounters, and most recently, the theft of her bicycle.

Michele Simmons said she first noticed people walking toward the woods behind her home nearly two years ago. Over time, she realized a homeless encampment had formed beyond a fence in the trees.

Man connected to Livonia break-in flees after homeowner spots him walking through neighborhood again

Police in Livonia are conducting an active search for a man believed to be connected to a break-in reported a day earlier after he was spotted walking through residential areas again.

Police said the man reappeared Thursday (May 14) afternoon, walking through residential yards near 6 Mile and Newburgh roads around 4 p.m. near Bloomfield Drive.

A homeowner reported seeing the man walking through yards in the neighborhood and contacted the police.
