WALLED LAKE, Mich. – A woman accused of being involved in a violent stabbing episode in Walled Lake has been charged.

Domonique Simone Jones was arraigned Friday on a charge of assault with doing great bodily harm less than murder.

Her bail was set at $25,000.

Jones is accused of getting into a fight with a 24-year-old woman Wednesday morning at the Walled Lake Villa apartments and at some point grabbing a kitchen knife.

The fight spilled out of the apartment and the 24-year-old victim was found bleeding in the middle of nearby Pontiac Tail Road.

She is being treated at Botsford Hospital for stab wounds to her arms and hands. She lives with her 2-year-old son in the apartment.

The boy was not harmed.

A 17-year-old girl was also involve but not hurt. She was questioned by police and has since been released.
