5 people arrested after Wendy's is robbed in Woodhaven

WOODHAVEN, Mich. – Robbers who hit up a Woodhaven fast food restaurant are behind bars after leaving police on a chase through Wayne County.

Police said the Wendy's on Allen Road was robbed at gunpoint at about 2 a.m. Wednesday by a group who then took off.

Police chased them into Lincoln Park, where they crashed on the northbound ramp of I-75 to M-39.

No one was hurt in the crash or the robbery.

Five people were arrested.
