DETROIT – Wayne State University's Science and Engineering Library will close on Aug. 1.
In a statement posted on their website, WSU said budget cuts and a decline in use were behind the decision to close the building.

Access to the library's collection will still be available through the university's Get It! catalogue program and the Math and Computer Science labs that are in the basement of the building will remain open. Students and faculty can still use computers at the Undergraduate and Purdy/Kresge Library.
