No description foundCENTER LINE, Mich. – A dealership in Center Line is offering a reward for the return of a unique engine.
On Oct. 28, someone cut a hole in the wall of the Ed Rinke Chevrolet dealership on Van Dyke Avenue and got away with a LSX 454 V-8 engine.
The dealership is only one of three in the state that Chevrolet allows to make the 620 horsepower engine.
The serial number on the engine is 0811702.
The dealership is offering a $1,000 reward if the engine is returned and still usable.
There is a $5,000 reward for information that leads to whoever stole the engine in the first place.
Tips can be called into the dealership or Center Line police.
