Autopsy confirms body found in lake is missing Michigan doctor Teleka Patrick had been missing since December
PORTER, Ind. – An autopsy has identified a woman's body recovered from a northwestern Indiana lake as that of a missing Michigan doctor.
The Lake County Coroner's Office said Wednesday that fingerprints confirmed the body as Teleka Patrick, 30, of Kalamazoo, Mich.
A cause of death was not released.
Indiana State Police say divers found the body Sunday in Lake Charles in Porter , about 15 miles east of Gary.
Police and FBI agents searched the same lake on Jan. 23 for Patrick. She had been missing since December, when her Lexus was found abandoned nearby along Interstate 94.
