Knife-wielding robber confronts owners Wednesday evening at restaurant on Packard Road

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – For the second time in five months, the owners of Mary's Fabulous Chicken and Fish in Ann Arbor have been the victims of armed robbery.

The most recent incident happened Wednesday evening when the owners were confronted at the restaurant on Packard Road by a man who had a knife. 

The 75 year-old owner, Yong Kim, who was beaten in a previous robbery in August , was pushed to the ground, while the knife was held to his 68-year-old wife.

The robber is described as a light skinned black male, 30-40 years old, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a mustache and heavy set, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. Police have released a composite sketch of him.

Two teens have been charged in connection with the August robbery.
