Giant pit bull weighs 173 pounds

New Hampshire pit bull The Hulk is a towering, 17-month-old, 173-pound pooch bred by Dark Dynasty K9s. The breeders say they specialize in size, according to a Huffington Post article.

Dark Dynasty says it breeds dogs like The Hulk for use as security dogs or for personal protection. The company also works with obedience training and behavioral issues, according to its Facebook page.

According to the HuffPo article, Dark Dynasty's owner says he is careful who he sells his dogs to, and stipulates in contracts that he can check on dogs every three months.
