SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Michigan man is facing child porn charges after investigators said two juveniles saw him watching pornographic movies while naked in his home.
According to criminal complaint against Springfield Township's Timothy James Holbert, the two juveniles reported seeing Holbert's actions last August through a window of the home on Dixie Highway.

The juveniles also saw the 31-year-old looking at child porn images.
A search warrant conducted by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office and the FBI days later at Holbert's home uncovered 8,000 images of child pornography and "dozens of professional-grade photo books of neighborhood boys playing in the lake, and doing various summertime activities," according to the complaint. He'd been living in the neighborhood for about six years.
Holbert had taken some of the photos, enlarged them and had them hanging on a wall.
Investigators said they also found search terms consistent with child pornography on Holbert's computer, computer "cleaning" software and evidence of encryption software.
Holbert is being held in the Wayne County Jail on one count of receipt of child porn and one count of possession of child porn.
Neighbors were told about the charges on Tuesday night. Some told Local 4's Jason Colthorp that Holbert taught water skiing lessons to kids on the lake and often hung around with them.
"Yeah he seemed like a nice guy," said neighbor Kelly Morgan. "But, I don't know, you never know with people, so you just kind of live and let live."
Neighbors said Holbert was a nice guy, but they found it odd that he was often hanging around kids more than adults.
One neighbor had to tell Holbert to stay away from his house after Holbert started hanging around there often. The neighbor claimed to to notice something was wrong and told him not to come when kids were around.
A bond hearing for him is scheduled Friday. If he's convicted, Holbert could face five years in jail.
