Suspicious fire in Dundee under investigation

DUNDEE, Mich. – A suspicious fire that destroyed the management office of the Country Heritage Community Homes on Saturday morning is under investigation in Dundee.

The Dundee Fire Department was assisted by the Ida Fire Department and the Summerfield Fire Department to bring the blaze under control.

The fire appears to have begun at the east end of the building, according to authorities.

The Dundee Police Department is calling the fire “suspicious in nature” and said that arson may be involved.

Michigan State Police is assisting with the investigation.
