Detroit fire truck involved in accident while heading to house fire

DETROIT – A Detroit Fire Department truck was involved in an accident this morning while on the way to a house fire on the city's east side. 

The accident happened just before 6 a.m. on Mt. Elliott near E. Grand Blvd.  

Sources tell Local 4 one person was transported to the hospital. At this time that person's condition is not known.
