Medical examiner: Man whose body was found in Romulus committed suicide

ROMULUS, Mich. – The Wayne County Medical Examiner has ruled the death of a man whose body was found Thursday in a park in Romulus as a suicide.

The medical examiner said Brandon Mahon, 21, died from a stab wound to the chest and strangulation.

Mahon's body was found with at St. John's Lodge No. 44 Community Park near Beverly and Henry Ruff Roads.

Police said he had zip ties around his neck.
