PHOTOS: Suspected Kalamazoo shooter's home, crime scenes, evidence

The City of Kalamazoo released hundreds of photos Thursday connected to the investigation of the shooting rampage that killed six people and injured two.

The pictures detail the home of suspected shooter Jason Dalton which show multiple guns in the basement and ammunition found all over of the house.

Photographs of evidence and of the crime scenes were included, as well as the area where Dalton was arrested.

The shootings began outside the Meadows Apartment complex in Richland Township on the eastern edge of Kalamazoo County, where a woman was shot multiple times and seriously wounded. The photographs show several bullet holes and shell casings, along with tire tracks in the parking lot.

Nearly four hours later and 15 miles away, a father and his 18-year-old son were gunned down at the Seelye Kia Dealership. Shell casings were photographed at the dealership as well.

An hour later, five people, four women and a teenager, were shot in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel restaurant along I-94. The Cracker Barrel crime scene is not among the photographs released.

Dalton was arrested around 12:40 a.m. He was found leaving a local bar in his Chevy HHR and was followed until backup arrived. A Walther P99 was found in his vehicle among various other items photographed. The arrest happend at Ransom and Porter streets.

Dalton apparently was working as an Uber driver and taking fares between his shooting rampage. According to documents, Datlon told investigators his phone was controlling him at the time of the shootings and the Uber app "started making him be like a puppet."
