Woman charged in connection with deadly crash in Warren Moncia Lacey, 25, accused of hitting 65-year-old Haleem Goode Wednesday morning No description found
WARREN, Mich. – A 25-year-old Warren woman is charged in connection with a deadly accident that happened early Wednesday morning on on 8 Mile Road near Ryan Road.
Police said Moncia Lacey hit Haleem Goode at about 1:30 a.m.
The impact of the crash caused Goode's car to catch fire. He died at the scene.
Goode's family told Local 4 he was on his way to pick up his wife from a dialysis appointment.
Lacey is charged with homicide/manslaughter with a motor vehicle and operating a car with a suspended license.
She was arraigned in the hospital. Her bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety.
