BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. – A 24-year-old man was arrested Monday in Bloomfield Hills after police found a collection of knives and bladed weapons in his car. 

Cory Gusmano was stopped for erratic driving just after 2 a.m. near Woodward Avenue and Chesterfield Road, police said. A search of his car turned up 28 "cutting implements," mostly illegal weapons, police said.

The weapons were described by police as a sword, daggers, throwing knives, throwing stars, double-edged blades and folding knives. 

Police said they were all "within reach of the driver." 

Gusmano was charged with a felony carrying a concealed weapon charge, and was released on bond.
